Here’s the olive drab version of our latest M24 “Chaffee”. Nicknamed “Rebel Rousers” this M24 is ideal for action in early 1945 up to the end of the war in Europe in May ’45.
Utilizing the same 3 figures as the “winter” one (minus the snow and frost of course) this little beauty works perfectly in any very late war scene.
As a footnote Chaffees were also well utilized post war. They saw action in Korea… Indo China… and the Middle East.
They were also a big favourite of Hollywood… You can see Chaffees “impersonating” Shermans in “Patton” and “Battle of The Bulge”. Two were even “mocked-up” to look like Panthers in “Is Paris Burning”.
