During the Minsk Offensive in June 1944, the T-34/85 played a crucial role in the Soviet drive against German forces. This upgraded version of the T-34 tank, which featured an improved 85mm gun, significantly enhanced the Soviet Army's ability to engage and destroy German armor and fortifications. The T-34/85's superior firepower and armor protection proved pivotal in overcoming German defenses and contributing to the successful encirclement and destruction of enemy units around Minsk. Its presence underscored the growing effectiveness of Soviet tanks in countering the increasingly outdated German armor, facilitating the Red Army's continued advance westward. With it's two opening and closing metal hatches, it's of course a natural for new crew figures to come.
