Portrayed by Gene Hackman in “A Bridge Too Far”, Sosabowski had grave doubts about the entire operation right from the very beginning. This superb character study shows the General in his paratrooper “Denison” smock, wearing his distinctive blue/gray Polishberet and carrying his Browning automatic pistol.
